Delivery & Returns


LoungeLife uses trusted professional removalists to deliver our furniture Australia wide. Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode as well as volume of the product and will vary between models. Add your items to the shopping cart and enter your postcode to generate the freight charge for your order.

All products are inspected prior to delivery and are exceptionally well packaged for transport. Your Lounge Life Lounge suite should arrive to you in perfect condition. If it doesn't, please contact us immediately so we can provide a resolution for you.

Leather Lounges and Fabric Sofas

Large items such as our lounge suites require a great deal of care and coordination to successfully deliver to your home. Our staff will contact you prior to delivery to discuss your requirements and schedule a convenient time for you to receive your lounge. Sydney metropolitan deliveries can usually be delivered within a narrow window. Interstate delivery schedules tend to be less precise due to logistical complexities, however our friendly carriers will call and advise of their expected arrival time as accurately as possible. To guarantee you the best service, we kindly ask that someone is home to check and sign for the goods upon arrival.

While our carriers will make every effort to assist you and provide the best service possible, they are limited to delivering your lounge up to a point that is easily accessible. Deliveries that require manoeuvering through narrow doorways, hallways and up stairs may attract a surcharge due to the increased difficulty of access and the amount of time required to achieve delivery. Please ensure that you measure your entryway carefully, taking note of any stairwells, elevators or narrow doorways that will need to be manoeuvred around. If you do not advise us in advance of any potential obstacles, your delivery will not be attempted and your furniture will be returned to our warehouse. Any subsequent delivery attempts will be made at the customer's expense.

Our basic service includes delivery to your door. A full service delivery including unpacking of your furniture, minor assembly and disposal of packaging materials can be arranged for you if required, this service must be coordinated in advance of delivery and is only available at the discretion of the removalist used. To prevent damage to your furniture while it is being delivered, our removalists will not unwrap any item until it is in place. Smaller Items

Small, light items can be sent with a courier service to keep freight fees as low as possible for you. Please note that due to liability restrictions, couriers are not permitted to enter your premises to achieve a delivery, the service is to your door only. A delivery window will be provided to you when your booking is confirmed, please ensure someone will be home to check and sign for the goods upon arrival. While we make every effort to deliver within the quoted window, occasionally traffic conditions, weather or other difficulties may require extending the delivery timeframe.

Pick-Up and Collection Options

Collection from our warehouses is available to all customers. Please email support@loungelife.com.au for information regarding warehouse opening hours and for additional information regarding the packaging of your items to ensure you have ample space in your vehicle. Please let us know if you will need assistance with loading your furniture when making a booking for collection.

We are happy to coordinate with a third party removalist employed on your behalf. Please ensure they have your relevant order information when booking in collections for your furniture. Unscheduled and after-hours collections are not possible due to restricted hours of operation.

14 Day Money Back Guarantee

We know you'll love your Lounge Life furniture but for your peace of mind, we're proud to provide a 14 Day Money Back Guarantee. We are happy to honour your return, provided the following criteria are met:

  • Staff must be notified as soon as your furniture is inspected
  • Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery/collection
  • Goods must be returned in their original packaging or equivalent
  • Goods must be returned in their original condition with all accessories and manuals
  • Goods must not be damaged or dirty

Upon return, all goods will be inspected to ensure they comply with our returns policy and a refund will be issued within 14 days.

All products which have been tailored to your requirements and specially manufactured will attract a 30% restocking fee. Delivery costs are not reimbursable.

This policy only applies to purchases made through the www.loungelife.com.au website.

Please Note: Your purchase is not eligible for return simply because it won't fit through to, or in your space. Please ensure you have measured your space carefully before proceeding to the checkout. Holding fees

In the event that we need to store your furniture, holding fees may be applicable to your order.

  • We will not charge you for time that your furniture spends in our warehouse before you are contacted to book a date for delivery.
  • If you are unable to accept furniture on the date/s offered by our freight coordinator, holding charges may apply if you are unable to make an alternate booking with us in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Holding fees will apply if your furniture must be held in our warehouse for longer than 10 days after we first contact you regarding delivery.
  • Fees may be partially waived provided we are notified in advance that you require us to hold your furniture and the timeframe is approved as reasonably short.
  • If you will require storage of your furniture past the projected date of arrival in our warehouse, please discuss this with staff before placing an order. If there are unforeseen delays in your planning, please let us know as soon as you become aware.

As many of our customers travel for work or are undertaking renovations or construction on their home, we do our best to accommodate their needs. As space is at a premium in our warehouse and we trade at high volumes, holding fees are necessary to ensure long-term storage of furniture does not become a logistical issue for us.
