What's happening

On 28 September, the Evergreen vessel carrying our containers suffered a catastrophic engine failure. It had made it all the way to waters off Queensland on its southbound voyage. The repairs it needs can't be carried out in Australia, so the vessel has been sent back to Taiwan.

This delay sits with the freight forwarder and the vessel, and it is entirely outside of our control. These containers were already running around 30 days behind because of the recent typhoon, and this breakdown adds to that wait.

We are waiting on the freight forwarder to confirm the repair timeline and how our containers will reach Australia. We are pressing them for answers every day, and we will not accept vague timeframes on your behalf.
